He is glorious

Yahweh created,

The whole universe.

He spoke it into existence,

With beautiful verse.

He is glorious.

He formed the mountains,

With His mighty hands.

He dug out the sea,

And separated dry land.

He is glorious.

Yahweh made children;

Adam and Eve.

They were made in His image,

To worship and receive.

He is glorious.

He made them to know Him;

Drink deep of His love.

They dwelt in a garden,

With Yah from above.

He is glorious.

Humans rejected,

Yahweh and His rule.

They worshiped creation,

And beasts that did drool.

Still, He is glorious.

The Lord flooded the earth,

But called forth a man.

To build a huge ark,

So he could withstand.

He is glorious.

Again, Mankind rebelled,

But Yahweh forgave.

He descended to darkness,

To free all death’s slaves.

He is glorious.

Yahweh is Jesus,

God’s only Son.

He is King of heaven;

He rules everyone.

He is glorious.

The crown King of heaven,

Did take on flesh.

He took on our sin,

And gave righteousness.

He is glorious.

He went into the ground,

Bloody and torn.

After three days,

He was reborn.

He is glorious.

He is enthroned in the heavens,

In majestic light.

Too magnificent to behold,

With mortal sight.

He is glorious.

He mediated between,

Sinful man and holy God.

He gave peace to all,

By shedding His blood.

He is glorious.

Christ is all-knowing;

He’s perfectly just.

To be forgiven our sin,

We must only Him trust.

He is glorious.

He saves from sin,

And for eternal glory.

He breathes new life,

And writes a new story.

He is glorious.

Jesus is holy, beautiful,

Loving and true.

His mercy is for all,

No matter what you’ve been through.

He is glorious.

Jesus conquered the serpent;

That nasty old liar.

If you want to know Him,

You need only inquire.

He is glorious.

He will not despise,

A sorrowful start.

He will never turn away,

If you give Him your heart.

He is glorious.

Surrender to Him;

The King of kings.

He’s the Lord of life,

Of Him heaven sings.

He is glorious.

Come to Him,

And be reborn.

Give up your rags,

And you He will reform.

He is glorious.

Soon He will return,

But not as a Lamb.

The Lion of Judah,

Has conquered all lands.

He is glorious.

His kingdom is coming,

And is already here.

He will end all our sorrow,

And stop all our tears.

He is glorious.

He’s made us His children,

And you can be too.

Come now to Jesus,

And you will rise new.

He is glorious.
