Everything that has begun,
Must therefore have a cause.
So who was the first Mover?
Let us contemplate and pause.
There’s order in the chaos,
That defies entropy.
Surely someone made us,
Else whence comes syntropy?
Can something come from nothing?
No, that can’t be true.
There’s an eternal God in heaven.
We must give Yahweh His due.
Hear oh Church of Jesus,
The Lord our God is One;
One Being in three Persons:
He is Father, Spirit, Son.
The Son is not the Father.
The Spirits not the Son.
Yet though They are Three,
In essence They are One.
He is beautifully complex,
But also can be known.
Though infinitely higher,
He descended to our zone.
He’s eternally existent;
The all-creating Word.
He has spoken to us;
Of His wondrous deeds you’ve heard.
The ways He manifested,
Are many and diverse.
See His prints upon creation;
Hear them in rhyme and verse.
Unsurpassed in glory,
It’s He who came to us.
To mend our tragic story,
He remedied us thus:
He sent His Son to earth,
To live here in the dirt.
As fully God and Human,
He experienced our hurt.
Yeshu lived a perfect life;
He did not deserve to die.
As those in heaven marveled,
It’s we who are His ‘why.’
It’s Him who first moved to us,
In creation and the grave.
He leapt into the pit,
For His lost lambs to save.
He carved a path with sorrow,
For us to come to Him.
Through His blood there’s a tomorrow;
Freedom from death and sin.
After He died for us,
He rose up in three days.
The firstborn from the dead;
Preeminent always.
The first Mover is Jesus,
Up to Him we could not climb.
We need only to trust Him,
And embrace His love Divine.
