Let us rejoice, be glad,
And sing of our King.
By His cross He has conquered;
Death, where is your sting?
Christ is risen,
Up from the dead.
The evil one’s minions,
Have scattered and fled.
Rejoice, Rejoice!
Rise up and sing.
The True Bread from heaven,
Eternal life brings.
Jesus is enthroned,
In glorious light.
He rose and ascended,
He conquered the night.
The dark, it did try,
To smother and stifle.
But In His great might,
To win was a trifle.
The burden was heavy;
God’s wrath on Him hurled.
But He cried, “It is finished!”,
And saved the whole world.
Rejoice and be glad!
Shout for joy all the earth.
Give praise to the Father,
For His gift of rebirth.
Join with all heaven,
Who sing up above,
Of the glory of Jesus,
And His endless love.
The offer is extended,
From Jesus Divine,
“Come all who are weary,
And you shall be mine.”
Everyone’s welcome.
Yes that means you.
Come rest now in Jesus,
And know love that’s true.
Our God is so gracious,
So loving and just.
Cease now your striving;
In His finished work trust.
Rejoice and be glad.
Give praise to the King.
To the Ruler of Heaven,
Let us join hands and sing.
