You stride on the clouds;
You ride on the lightning.
Your tender mercy enshrouds,
Us from righteous wrath frightening.
Bless Your Name Jesus;
May Thy good will be done.
I long to embrace You,
When my race here is run.
You reign in the heavens;
The earth sits in Your hands.
Every nation on earth,
Will soon perish from Your lands.
Your kingdom is coming;
There will be peace on earth.
Creation will be restored;
There will be endless mirth.
For corruption and greed,
There comes soon a swift end.
All who disdain and abhor You,
Will before Your throne bend.
Your wrath, it is righteous;
Your judgment is just.
All will face condemnation,
Unless we in Your name trust.
The hardness of God,
Is softer than man’s kindness.
For by Your own blood,
You’ve removed our blindness.
You who formed the mountains,
And command the seas,
Faced justice for us,
Through Your own suffering.
King Jesus You’re humble,
Yet mighty and bold.
You devoured death,
To bring us into Your fold.
My Lord You’re a Treasure;
Matchless in beauty and true.
Neither in earth nor heaven,
Is there anyone like You.
You are a kind Teacher;
A faithful, wise Friend.
You care for my wounds,
And cause my brokenness to mend.
Faced with Your glory;
I fall back, mouth agape.
Whether in heaven or on earth,
Your majesty can’t be escaped.
With Your honor and fame,
The universe resounds.
Your loyal love and good grace,
To humanity abounds.
If I dive into the depths,
Surely you’re there.
If I ascend a great mountain,
Still I’m in Your care.
You are enthroned in heaven,
And You reside in my heart.
My Lord, God and King Jesus,
From You I’ll never be apart.
