Who is like,
The King of kings?
For all that call to Him,
Grace and mercy He brings.
All of time and space,
Are within His hands.
He’s enthroned in the heavens;
Forever His kingdom stands.
He delights to do justice;
He’s all-powerful and holy.
Though He knows our dark hearts,
Still He loves us fully.
To the poor and downtrodden,
He shows kind regard.
He delights to uplift,
Those the world does discard.
To the sick and the weary,
Does King Jesus proclaim,
Good news of a future,
Free of suffering and shame.
Though He is the Most High,
Humbly He came low.
Though He knew no sin,
He faced death and sorrow.
These things sought to crush Him;
God’s only Son.
But He devoured the darkness;
He rose, conquered and won.
Gloriously He ascended,
To His throne on high.
‘King of kings’ and ‘Lord of lords,’
Engrave His robe and thigh.
Every ruler on earth,
He has put in their place.
They will all answer to Him;
No wrongs will He efface.
Every secret that’s hidden,
Will be made known.
All will be made to reap,
The seeds they have sown.
The Lord Jesus is holy;
He is mighty and just.
We all must pay for our deeds,
Unless in Him we trust.
For none here are good;
To sin we’re all enslaved.
Our great, desperate need,
Is to be mercifully saved.
Praise be to God,
For in love He has come.
Our debt for sin He has paid,
That like Him we might become.
Come now to the fountain,
And receive His love and mercy.
For living water He gives,
Freely to all who are thirsty.
Who is like,
The King of kings?
Come rest and abide,
Under His gracious wings.
