“Hello;
It’s nice to see you, but I’m dying,
Despite all these years of trying,
Still I’m left broken, sick and crying;
Death may soon come and I will go.”
It pains me friend, to see you,
In despair, hard-pressed and trampled down.
I sympathize with you for I too,
Am overwhelmed and fear I’ll drown.
But for us there is great hope;
This certain joy’s no wishful thinking.
The Most High cast to us a rope,
To grab and be saved from sinking.
If for us to live is Christ,
Then for us to die is gain.
For though redemption is high priced,
Christ trampled Death and now He reigns.
“Still;
To live would be a great adventure;
Live without doctor, pill or denture;
To set out on a bold new venture,
Loving long life in God’s good will.”
Please join me for a moment,
My dear sweet grieving friend.
Take comfort in the Christ’s atonement,
For our sorrow He did mend.
It seems we’re destined for disaster,
But our God is here with us.
This is no temporary plaster;
Please hear me out as I speak thus:
We want long life and we shall have it;
Life free of sickness, death and pain.
God in His kingdom us did admit;
Soon we’ll not know these things again.
To live will be a great adventure;
After this Earth true life begins.
From Jesus Christ the true Thirst Quencher,
Flow streams of life; freedom from sins.
Come now to Jesus as you weep;
Tears sown with Him are reaped in joy.
For every tear shed by His sheep,
Are used to grace and peace deploy.
“I see;
This truth is comforting to hear,
To know that Jesus Christ is near,
The road is dark, but I see clear,
That Jesus is here with me.”
Indeed my friend it’s true,
And I want all who weep to know,
Jesus extends His hand to you,
To hold wherever you may go.
So come now to the King,
And receive everlasting life.
In Him you’ll find reason to sing,
And shelter from unceasing strife.
This world, it can be dark,
But the true Dawn is breaking through.
By faith take refuge in the Ark;
Jesus the Christ will rescue you.
