Come, let us sing,
To the Lord Most High.
Seeing us dead in sin,
He did not pass by.
He rushed to our aid,
To treat our every wound.
With flesh He was made,
That death He might consume.
Raise a joyful shout,
To King Jesus the Brave.
From the tomb He walked out;
He’s defeated the grave.
The Lamb of God was led,
To be nailed to a tree;
Willingly He was bled,
For the sin of you and me.
Rise up and praise,
The King of kings.
He’s perfect in all His ways,
Of Him all Heaven sings.
The fallen rulers below,
Couldn’t see or understand,
Why would He face death’s blow?
They knew not of His plan.
How could He by His death,
Silence the serpent’s boasts?
‘Cause His ways, they are higher;
He’s Yahweh, Lord of hosts.
For in His selfless death,
He did trample the grave.
He retook up His breath;
Yah is mighty to save.
The Lord Jesus is Yahweh;
Bless His holy name.
He rose on the third day,
And saved us from the flame.
He strode into the fire,
To lift us up and out,
Of sin and death’s baleful mire;
He’s the one true Redoubt.
Raise up your mournful face;
Join Christ’s joyful rebellion.
Accept His free gift of grace,
Be free of death; that rapscallion.
King Jesus has vanquished,
The prince of this world.
Upon the cross where He anguished,
His victory banner’s unfurled.
See His cross and think, “Victory,”
For Christ Jesus is risen.
He undid Satan’s trickery,
And freed all who trust from death’s prison.
He gifts us now through faith,
Eternal life full of joy.
His kingdom will ever be safe,
From Satan and death’s cruel ploy.
Come now, let us sing,
To Jesus our risen Lord.
He’s a good, gracious King,
And by Him we’re adored.
