Life without end,
Is around the next bend,
For Christ the Lord, our sorrow did mend.
All who in Him believe,
Will one day receive,
A blessed, eternal, ecstatic reprieve.
As we dwell here below,
In us God will grow,
The fruit of the Spirit all His children show.
Having into the pit, sin and death hurled,
Through us He breathes new life in this world,
As His banner of love is unfurled.
No matter how dark our life here may seem,
All who trust Christ, He does redeem;
Through us His glory does shimmer and gleam.
By His Spirit we show others His love;
The very same we’ve received from above,
That flows to and through us like a graceful dove.
Most important of all we share the good news,
That when faced with death, Jesus Christ did not lose,
And all who trust in Him, He saves and renews.
He saves us not only from death and from hell,
But in His eternal, good kingdom we’ll dwell,
Where forever love, joy and peace grow and swell.
With the beam of His cross He bridged the great rift,
For those trapped in darkness to save and uplift;
Now to one and all He offers this great gift.
All may be reborn as God’s daughter or son,
For in His fight with death, King Jesus has won;
He now offers new life to each and everyone.
Come now to the God who loves you in full.
For you He suffered and died on a pole.
By His own death, our sin He does annul.
To all who trust in Him, He gives unending life,
Forever free of death, anguish and strife,
In a new heaven and earth where pleasure is rife.
