There Is No Neutrality

We must be aware of the reality,
That there is no neutrality,
When it comes to spirituality.

You see, we all serve someone,
And if we serve not God’s Son,
We’re servants of death and mammon.

This important truth must be disclosed:
To side not with Christ is to be opposed,
And to, with sin and darkness, be enclosed.

King Jesus will not tolerate,
Those who, with sin, collaborate.
But all who trust Him, He’ll exonerate.

To join not with Him is to stand against.
But He is loving and, our sin, recompensed,
And by grace through faith, forgiveness, dispensed.

Who we believe in really does matter,
Because to not gather with Him is to scatter,
But to free us His blood did splatter.

In our sin we are Jesus’ enemies,
But to deliver us from evil hegemonies,
Nails were thrust through His extremities.

Our God Who reigns supreme,
Went to such a bold extreme,
To us, back from sin and death, redeem.

Besides this He is Lord of all,
At Whose feet we’re made to fall.
How can we not now answer to His call?

Heaven’s splendor, behind, He left,
To for our sinful debt be cleft;
To worship another is bald-faced theft.

Indifference to God is but high treason,
So please hearken to this rhymeful reason,
And repent during this gracious season.

For this brief period we live in,
God’s giving us time to repent of our sin,
But judgement soon will begin.

Either we’ll die or He’ll return,
And those at enmity with Him will burn;
This important truth we must discern.

Though our situation is quite dire,
By His death, He’s our life supplier,
Because, that any should perish, He doesn’t desire.

His heart’s overflowing with mercy and grace.
For this reason, on the cross, He took our place,
And became the ransom for Adam’s race.

Whom will you serve? Quick, make your choice.
Trust Christ and out the grave He will, you, hoist,
And bring you in His kingdom, where you’ll forever rejoice.
