Worship From The Depths

Worship from the depths, join in with the praise of Heaven.
Give glory unto Him Who created all in days seven.

If you’re crawling through the mud; the muck and mire of despair,
Lift your voice to Jesus; declare none, with Him, can compare.

Who else but God is holy, just and true in all His ways?
Honor the Lord Almighty; the majestic Ancient of Days.

Hallelujah to You Lord; we despise the fear and shame.
It is You our hearts adore, for there is no other Name.

There’s no other name in Heaven, nor on the Earth beneath,
That is worthy of the worship, our lips now, to You, bequeath.

From the depths now hear our cry, unto Your righteous throne above.
Forever You’re exalted high; it is You, Jesus, we love.

Thank You for abiding with us, and paying for our sin.
With Your blood You paid our ransom, and, Your kingdom, brought us in.

You are the Good Shepherd Who lays His life down for His sheep.
You defeat the marauding wolf, and comfort us as we weep.

It’s also true You conquered death, and cast out this world’s cruel prince.
You threw the serpent ‘neath Your heel and trampled it into mince.

Christ Almighty is awesome in power, and He knows no equal.
In addition, He’s gentle and lowly, though He’s Divine and regal.

The King of kings came not to be served, but to serve as our sacrifice;
For us He went into the grave, but then rose up in days thrice.

Glory be to the Lion of Judah; the risen Lamb that was slain.
We will praise You here below, and forever in Your domain.

Holy, holy, holy, are You Jesus our almighty God.
To You belongs all the glory; with praise to Your name let our tongues be shod.
