Have You Stumbled?

Have you stumbled, transgressed and against God sinned?
Then Jesus has come for you.
For, it is on sinners, in love, He has grinned,
And hastened to bring healing and rescue.

The great Physician has sent forth His call,
Not to the healthy, but to the sick.
Those who repent and, at His feet, fall,
Will find that, to forgive, He is quick.

Perhaps you’ve erred and chased worldly lusts,
Or done harm to your fellow man.
Take heart, for, the one who in God trusts,
Will be saved, as was His plan.

Christ did not come for the righteous,
From His throne room on high.
He came to help those in crisis,
For, He’s not deaf to our cry.

All of humanity, each and everyone,
Of us, against God, has trespassed.
But our merciful Savior, God’s own Son,
By none is His love surpassed.

Seeing us languish in our helpless state,
Though for it we were deserving,
Selfless He came, to wash clean our slate;
To as our sin’s ransom be serving.

Our God, He is rich in mercy and love,
And with His blood He supplied the cure.
The Almighty descended from Heaven above,
To, the punishment for our sin, endure.

The Great Physician, with His life laid down,
For our soul’s sickness has provided healing.
We can all be raised to life and given a crown,
If in faith, before Jesus, we’re kneeling.

Don’t say, “Woe is me, I’m beyond saving;
You’ve no idea what I’ve done.”
Divine blood washes away all misbehaving;
Repent now, and believe in God’s Son.

The Most High is the Judge of all creation,
And He has so decreed,
“Those who trust my Son to save them from damnation,
From the chains of sin and death shall be freed.”

If you have sinned, weep, but also rejoice,
For a Savior has come unto you.
Let us join hands and praise Him with one voice;
The gospel of Christ Jesus is true.
