Hallelujah to the King of kings.
Eternal life, to those who trust Him, He brings.
He is the Source from whence all joy springs.
He is Alpha, Omega; Ruler of all things.
Today I sing to you of the God-Man;
Jesus Christ the incarnate I Am.
Seeing us chained up, enslaved to sin,
To this broken world He entered in.
He, the eternal One, took on flesh,
To raise us from death to life afresh.
The Light descended to the dark,
That with Him to Heaven we might embark.
Hallelujah to the King of kings.
Eternal life, to those who trust Him, He brings.
He is the Source from whence all joy springs.
He is Alpha, Omega; Ruler of all things.
You and I existed without hope,
Unable to climb up Zion’s slope.
But in selfless love our God came down,
Unwilling to watch us drown.
He rebuked the wind and waves,
And took our place in our graves.
Humbly Jesus willingly died;
For the whole world crucified.
Hallelujah to the King of kings.
Eternal life, to those who trust Him, He brings.
He is the Source from whence all joy springs.
He is Alpha, Omega; Ruler of all things.
Jesus was buried in a tomb,
But in three days back to life did bloom.
He returned to Heaven’s throne,
And to us who dwell in darkness He’s made known,
All who trust Him and repent,
Their damnation He’ll prevent.
Life and joy we shall receive,
If in Jesus we believe.
Hallelujah to the King of kings.
Eternal life, to those who trust Him, He brings.
He is the Source from whence all joy springs.
He is Alpha, Omega; Ruler of all things.
