Believe In The Son

Believe in the Son and receive life eternal.
He has rescued us from Hell infernal.
To all who trust Him, life He brings;
All praise be to Jesus the King of kings.

Those who reject Christ, God’s wrath on them remains,
But in Jesus, we can be cleansed of our filthy stains.
By Christ’s blood we can be purified;
His love is an ocean flowing deep and wide.

All glory be to Jesus, the risen blessed One;
He descended into darkness, fought with death and won.
On the cross He paid our ransom; redemption’s work is done.
And no one who calls to Him, will He ever shun.

We cannot be saved by anything we do;
Salvation is by grace and trusting Christ is true.
We were drowning in our sin, cut off from God, adrift,
But God has offered us eternal life as a gift.

Forsake now sin and darkness, come to Christ, believe.
His heart is full of love and, us, He will receive.
To save and forgive us is His delight;
This is why for us He chose to suffer and fight.

If ever you feel unseen, unheard, unloved and small,
Please this blessed truth to your mind recall,
The God of all creation in our place did fall,
In order to bring us to Him and dwell within His hall.

Glory to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
All who trust in Him will not remain in sin’s pit.
Jesus dove in headfirst; reach out, take His hand,
And He will set you on your feet in His undying land.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty.
On the cross He said, “It’s finished,” and on the third day He,
Rose back to life, defeating sin and grave.
So, come believe in God’s own Son and you will be forgave.
