Do not fear little flock,
You have a Father in Heaven.
We rest securely on the Rock,
Who created all in days seven.
Be faithful here below,
And do not hoard earthly spoil.
Do not work for what tomorrow,
Will rot beneath the soil.
Store treasure in Heaven that won’t fail;
Where moths don’t destroy and thieves can’t steal.
Our God’s kingdom will prevail,
And He’s placed on us His seal.
God has given us the kingdom;
To do so is His delight.
At the time determined in His wisdom,
What now is faith will become sight.
Await Christ’s triumphant return with patience,
And use what He’s given for His glory.
Don’t succumb to worldly complacence,
But share with others the gospel story.
Be a fountain of generosity,
Sharing Christ’s love in word and deed.
I speak of true religiosity;
To give of ourselves to those in need.
As God withheld not even His Son,
Let us follow His selfless example,
So many more back from death might be won,
And know joy and peace in Christ is ample.
While we serve Jesus out of love,
Also, do not this truth miss.
Faithful service results in reward above;
Jesus wanted us to know this.
For He said to store up treasure,
That we will receive in Heaven someday.
There awaits some mysterious pleasure,
God will delightfully to us convey.
The Lord, He is so good;
He gives us what we don’t deserve.
To give us life He was nailed to wood,
But there remain yet more gifts in reserve.
The Lord is a fountain of grace;
Let’s live for His kingdom that will soon come.
He’s allotted us there a place,
And it is by no means humdrum.
There will be a new Heaven and Earth,
Where we will live forever in perfect peace.
Of pleasure, joy and mirth,
There will be an eternal increase.
Do not live for this world,
But trust in Christ and live for Him.
The Lord’s banner of love over us is unfurled;
Our future is exceedingly bright, not dim.
