There isn’t enough paper, ink or RAM,
To record all the marvelous deeds of the Lamb;
Jesus the Christ, our God and King,
Who for the world’s sin endured such suffering.
He rules the heavens, all lands and seas;
He created all creatures, rivers and trees.
He raised up the mountains with but a word,
And the oceans were filled when His command was heard.
He formed mankind in His own image;
Breathed life into dust to reflect His visage.
God also made us to, by Him, be loved,
But we rejected our Maker and away, Him, shoved.
We sinned against the Source of life and light,
And for this deserve to suffer in eternal night.
But lo, take heart; His marvelous deeds continue.
Our God came to Earth clothed with flesh and sinew.
He, Jesus, was born as a man,
As was always His plan from before time began.
He knew we would fall, but in His grace,
Decided to come and fall in our place.
The Lamb of God lived a perfect life,
As He wept His way through this world of strife.
He performed many wonders, even raising the dead,
But most important of all are the words that He said.
He declared Himself God, and the source of life eternal,
Come to pay our ransom and save us from Hell infernal.
Then, because the wages of sin is death,
Humbly He went to the cross and gave up His own breath.
He bore the full wrath of God for the world’s sin;
After He suffered and died, a tomb He was put in.
But hear this, next He rose from the grave.
He defeated death, for He’s mighty to save.
His most marvelous deed, His death on the cross,
Achieved our salvation, and was not for Him a loss.
This He did willingly because of His great love;
To save and redeem us, Jesus came from above.
Repent now of sin and trust in Christ.
His work of redemption, to pay our debt has sufficed.
In hearing of these marvelous deeds of the Lamb,
Believe and receive Jesus, the great I Am.
