Deliver us oh Lord, we cry to You.
Deliver us oh Lord, pull us through.
Christ our Lord, send the rain,
Wash our sin away.
Every scar and every stain,
All that remains of sin’s decay.
Jesus, please set us free,
From chains of sin and death.
In Your love and mercy,
To our empty lungs give breath.
Raise us up from the grave,
Roll back each tombstone.
Break into death’s enclave,
And let Your light be shown.
Deliver us oh Lord, we cry to You.
Deliver us oh Lord, pull us through.
Christ our Lord, in Your love,
Humbly You came down,
Meek and gentle like a dove,
Though You’re unmatched in renown.
Oh Most High, our God and King,
You descended to the dust;
Traded what’s splendorous and pristine,
For this world of rot and rust.
And seeing us languishing,
In the throes of our sin,
You came to us, anguishing,
Heart full of compassion.
Deliver us oh Lord, we cry to You.
Deliver us oh Lord, pull us through.
Blessed be Your holy Name;
You have heard our cry.
You bore all our sin and shame,
When for us You did die.
By Your blood that was shed,
In our place, we are washed clean.
No longer slaves to sin nor dead,
For Your cross bridged the ravine.
Though buried in a tomb,
You rose in three days.
All our guilt You did consume,
And Christ, it’s You, we praise.
Deliver us oh Lord, we cry to You.
Deliver us oh Lord, pull us through.
